Basil essential oil is extracted from the flowering sweet Basil.
In aromatherapy, Basil essential oil is used for nervous insomnia, anxiety and tiredness, insect bites, headaches, poor circulation and muscular aches or sprains.
USES- Massage, baths inhalation. A few drops of Basil essential oil on a tissue clears the head. The smell of sweet Basil in the bath will lift your spirits.

Roman Chamomile essential oil is extracted from the freshly dried, daisy-like flowers.
Chamomile is one of the oldest British medicinal and beauty herbs. Traditionally, it was said to 'cure all agues'
Roman Chamomile essential oil is rich in azulene which is a natural anti-inflammatory and healing agent. It has relaxing sedative benefits and smells of apples and straw.
In aromatherapy it is used for stress, sleeplessness, headaches, rashes, Insect bites, bums, cuts, toothache and menstrual or menopausal problems.
USES- Massage, baths, inhalation compress. To relax after a hard day add ten drops of oil to a warm bath. Roman Chamomile, when diluted with a carrier oil, may be massaged in and used as a compress for headaches or menstrual problems. It is also an excellent household disinfectant.

Citronella essential oil is obtained by steam distillation. Citronella oil has fresh, sweet, fruity/citrus aroma.

Clary Sage essential oil is extracted from the flowering tops and leaves.

USES- Massage, baths. A few drops in the bath soothe bad moods, itchy skin and will leave you energised. It is good for face, neck and scalp massages to help banish tension.

Eucalyptus Essential Oil is extracted from the twigs and leaves of the Blue Gum tree.

In aromatherapy, Eucalyptus Essential Oil is an excellent decongestant for fever, flu, coughs, colds or sinus. It soothes muscular aches, sprains and pains and helps heal abrasions.

A few drops in a dish of hot water on a radiator will disinfect a room and make breathing easier at night, or use it for a chest massage in a steam bath, or on a hot chest poultice. Fennel Essential Oil is extracted by steam distillation of the ripem fruits of the plant. Its a sweet, spicy and lovely anise aroma.
PROPERTIES- Toning, cleansing, reduces cellulite, refreshing mouthwash.
USE- Traditionally, Fennel Essential oil has been used as an antiseptic, aphrodisiac, soothing agent, muscle relaxant, cellulite, bruising, obesity, sore gums, halitosis, nausea.

Ginger Essential Oil is extracted from the dried root.
The pure essential oil has a lemony-pepper, Woody-spice smell and has warming, stimulating, astringent and antiseptic properties.
In aromatherapy, Ginger Essential Oil is good to boost the circulation, relieve a tight, chesty cough, stomach ache tight muscles, stiffness, or exhaustion. The astringent and antiseptic actions make it effective to warm and freshen tired feet.

Pure Grapefruit Essential Oil has a sharp, citrus aroma.

Hyssop Essential Oil is extracted by steam distillation of the leaves and flowers of the plant.
The pure essential oil is clear, colourless and its' aroma is sweet , fresh and herby.
USES- Hyssop Essential Oil is used for sore throats, coughing. anxiety, Asthma, Bronchitis, bruises, Dermatitis, Eczema, fatigue, high blood pressure, low blood pressure, poor circulation, respiratory ailments, Rheumatism, stress.
BLENDS WITH- Lavender, bay, geranium, clary sage, rosemary, and all citrus oils.

Juniper Essential Oil is extracted from the fresh berries of the evergreen juniper tree.
Juniper essential oil smells like pine but with a hot, peppery edge.

In aromatherapy, Juniper essential oil is best for menstrual problems, fluid retention, cramps, slow circulation and cellulite.It also has a toning effect on greasy skins or for acne, and a calming effect for the over-stressed.

USES- Used traditionally by the Maori's this herbs oil has qualities similiar to tea tree. In aromatherapy, it is used for calming depression and stress, for muscular aches and pains and for damaged skin. Massage, baths. Excellent when used in massage for skin and muscles. It is very good when used in a relaxing bath.
CAUTION- Manuka Essential Oil is safe when properly diluted.
Marjoram Essential Oil is obtained by steam distillation from the dried flowering heads of the shrub.
Pure Marjoram Essential Oil has a spicy, peppery, camphor-and-thyme smell and is relaxing soothing, warming and fortifying.
In aromatherapy it is useful for headaches, insomnia, tension, bruises, aches, pains, sprains chilblains, lumbago, bronchitis, coughs and colds.

Melissa Blend is made up of fractions taken from other oils including Lemongrass and Citronella to give a close approximation to the composition of the whole oil. The oil has a sharp, floral, lemon flavour and aroma.

Neroli is recovered from water distillation and then sharpened up with other natural citrus distillates to give a very good approximation of Neroli blossom essential oil.
The essential oil has a smell that is true to nature, of wonderful bitter-orangey blossom. It is a hypnotic sedative, calming, relaxing and anti-depressant.
In aromatherapy it is excellent for any kind of stress or tension, over-excitement, anxiety, insomnia or fears, and it is excellent for improving dry or mature complexions.

Since Neroli is a natural tranquilliser, use it with other relaxing oils for the sweetest bath imaginable. It is wonderful for any relaxing massage back, scalp, neck, face, hand or foot and improves skin texture at the same time. It is an ideal and safe oil to use during pregnancy. And to feel happy in the face of adversity, inhale a few drops from a tissue or scent your entire house with its calm, sensual smell.

In aromatherapy, it is used for cuts, burns, acne, stings, blisters, herpes and nappy rash. It is very effective in treating yeast and fungal infections.
